Two weeks after our launch, on 30 October 2026, it will be 20 years to the day since the world we recreate.
The website is dressed for the season until 30 November. Every pumpkin, cobweb, giant bat, ghost and the Grim Reaper on it is a real model from the 2006 game cache, drawn by the game's own renderer. The same goes for every creature and item in this thread's pictures, set on the 2006 website's own stone and scrolls.
Hallowe'en items, earned not bought. Vote for Lost Tribe on the website and your vote points claim the untradeable Hallowe'en 2006 Jack lantern mask and skeleton outfit, plus the older holiday items. None of them can be bought.
And every season after. From 15 December the site wears the snow backdrop runescape.com wore that winter.
Does it cost anything? No, and it never will. There is no store and nothing to buy. Donations are welcome and buy nothing in the game.
Do I need to download anything? No. It runs in a browser tab.
When can I play? Right now. Make a free account, press Play, and join the Discord to find people to play with.
What experience rate? 1x, the pace the game had in 2006.
What about members? 77 members quests are already in the game. The launch is free-to-play only, and the members world opens later.
How do I know staff aren't cheating? Staff play ordinary accounts, every trade the game records is public, and every staff action is logged on the website where players can see it.
